Students and teachers from Convitto Nazionale “Vittorio Emanuele II” di Roma, Italy visit our school

On the afternoon of June 4, 2019, 48 teachers and students from Convitto Nazionale “Vittorio Emanuele II” di Roma, Italy came to our school for a visit.

The visit began with sharing and exchanging. Exchange student delegates who studied in the International Division, ZHENG Yanke, LIN Peihan, and BAI Luobin talked to junior schoolmates about “one day at the International Division of No.2 High School” in both Italian and Chinese, from getting up in the morning to the end of evening self-study classes, including selective courses, community activities, and the orderly brilliant campus life.  They also told the junior schoolmates that the experience of studying in China was both significant and important. Faced with difficulties, one should not escape and must have the courage to deal with them.

Later, WANG Wei, Director of the International Division introduced about No.2 High School to Italian students and presented requirements and expectations to the future exchange students.

Italian students visited the campus afterwards. Italian teachers were very interested in our school’s self-help bookcases and spoke highly of the scientific achievements and they took photos as souvenirs. After the visit, students went to attend classes in different classrooms. Meantime, head of the science teaching and research group of the International Division and Italian teachers conducted a deep communication on the teaching progress, contents matching between China and Italy.

The International Division has been in collaboration with Convitto Nazionale “Vittorio Emanuele II” di Roma, Italy for four years. Four batches of Italian students have successfully completed exchange tasks in our school.  We are looking forward to the fifth batch of exchange students coming in September and the multi-cultural collision and fusion.
