Students of Our School Achieve Good Results in 2020 GCSE &AS Physics Challenge

The list of winners of GCSE &AS Physics Challenge held on March 15, 2020 was announced, of which nearly 2,000 students from more than 270 international schools and key middle schools across the country participated in the competition in China Region and achieved good results. He Xuerui, Li Muyao, Lei Ninglan, and Yang Yingrui of the senior one international course of our school won the gold award of GCSE grade, and He Xuerui was among top five of the country. Senior two students Yan Siwei won the bronze award of AS grade.

GCSE &AS Physics Challenge is hosted by the Organizing Committee of British Physics Olympiad. The contest topics are novel, connecting basic physical principles with life in the topics. It aims to expand students’ lateral thinking ability and stimulate students’ physical potential. It is a very challenging event. The British Physics Olympiad attaches great importance to the display of logic thinking. The process and final answers are required to be written out clearly for all statement questions and free-response questions. Students need to use Physics knowledge to complete the challenge, which involves a wide range of knowledge points.
