And two contestants Xiong Xiaoyu and Xu Jiajun were selected into the national team.

During the preparations for the final, 18 contestants overcame various barriers caused by the COVID pandemic and always adhered to scientific training without showing fatigue under the leadership of the coach. Finally, all contestants won gold and silver medals, and they gained access to the preferential policies from the program of “strengthening basic disciplines” done by Tsinghua University and Peking University.

Our school hereby would like to extend sincere congratulations to the award-winning students and their Physics Olympiad coaches.  It also hopes that Xiong Xiaoyu and Xu Jiajun will scale great heights and create success in the national team’s subsequent selections.
