Guo Yuchong from No. 2 High School of ECNU selected for Chinese National Team of IOI 2024!

The 2024 National Youth Informatics Olympic Winter Camp, hosted by the Chinese Computer Society (CCF) concluded today. The list of four members of the Chinese national team for the 36th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2024) were officially announced. Guo Yuchong, a student from our school, No. 2 High School of ECNU was selected with the second highest score nationwide!

This is the second time that students from No. 2 High School of ECNU have won the honor of representing their country in competitions, following Li Wanjun, winner of IOI 1994 gold medal and Fu Wenjie, winner of IOI 2001 silver medal.

The school hereby would like to extend warm congratulations to Guo Yuchong and the coach Jin Jing and sincere thanks to the class teacher Jin Jiu and all the subject teachers!  The school hopes that Guo Yuchong will continue to work hard and win at the International Olympiad in Informatics to be held in Egypt from September 1st to 8th, 2024, bringing glory to the school and the country!
