As the largest youth science and technology competition of the highest level in the city, the Shanghai Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Contest has always been at the forefront of youth science and technology innovation, emerging a group of new ideas and creations in the hot topics of newly developing interdisciplinary and technological areas. In recent years, the contest gradually shifted from evaluating projects to evaluating “people”. A new section called “Innovation Literacy and Comprehensive Quality Assessment” was established, and a “many to many” leaderless group discussion was organized, which put forward higher requirements for the scientific and technological innovation literacy and comprehensive quality of participating students.
