Luncheon for teachers and students from Rome Convitto Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II

On the afternoon of September 19, Principal Zhou Bin, Vice Principal Meng Xiangping, Director of the International Division Guo Hongwei, and Deputy Director Lai Yin of No. 2 High School of ECNU met and had lunch with visiting students from the Rome Convitto Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II for this semester. No. 2 High School of ECNU has been in a cooperative exchange relationship with the Rome Convitto Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II for ten years, and has successfully carried out multiple rounds of student exchanges to date.

This semester, a total of five Italian students are studying at the International Division of No. 2 High School of ECNU as exchange students.

Principal Zhou Bin cordially asked about Italian students’ study and life at No. 2 High School of ECNU. During the conversation, he carefully answered their questions about adapting to Chinese curriculum and various aspects of daily life. At the same time, Principal Zhou Bin also invited them to visit the outskirts of Shanghai and further experience the charm of the Chinese traditional culture.

After the meal, a student representative from the Rome Convitto Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II gave a speech in Chinese, expressing gratitude to Principal Zhou Bin, affection for No. 2 High School of ECNU, and enthusiasm for learning about the Chinese culture. Principal Zhou Bin stated that both China and Italy are countries with a long history, and he hopes that the students from the Rome Convitto Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II will study the Chinese language and culture seriously at No. 2 High School of ECNU, get a rich experience of life in China, and become cultural ambassadors for friendly exchanges between China and Italy.
